Slip On Flanges Manufacturers in India – ASTM A182 F304 Grade Slip On Flanges Offering Durability, Corrosion Resistance and Precision Fit

Viha Steel & Forging is a reputable Slip On Flanges Manufacturer, which produces high-precision slip-on flanges that are installed with ease with good alignment and interconnection of pipes in all types of industrial applications. These flanges are commonly applied in the oil and gas industries, petrochemical industries, power plants, and water treatment as they are cost-effective and have very good welding properties. In different classes and standards, slip-on flanges are manufactured with high-quality carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel so as to warrant compatibility, durability, and long life.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Simple slip-over design means that it is easy to install.
  • Weld neck flanges alternative that is cost-effective.
  • Applicable in low to medium pressure.
  • The joint strength is enhanced by dual welding (inside and outside).
  • Bags are available in several materials that include carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel.
  • Large dimensional accuracy and finish surface.
  • Fits with the majority of piping systems.
  • In raised face (RF), flat face (FF) and ring type joint (RTJ)
  • Produced in accordance with ASME, ANSI, DIN, BS and EN standards.
  • Is customizable based on client drawings and specs.

Technical Aspects

Slip On Flanges are made such that the bore is slightly bigger than the outside of the pipe thus the pipe can be slipped in the flange and then welded. The dual weld design increases the fatigue strength and also reduces concentration of stress.

Slip on flanges are not as high pressure as the weld neck flanges, however when operating within the design limits, they are very effective. Correct welding procedure and choice of material is a very important factor to provide the long life and leak free operation.

Such flanges are usually applied in non critical service lines where the ease of maintenance and replacement are considered important.Such flanges are usually applied in non critical service lines where the ease of maintenance and replacement are considered important.Being a very powerful component of a well-developed industrial sourcing ecosystem, slip-on flanges are essential in efficient supply chains and B2B marketing strategies to address consistent quality and quantity demands. One such popular sub-product is the blind flange, which has an elevated sealing surface that improves gasket seating under moderate pressure and temperature conditions as well as gasket sealing. These flanges are applicable in low- to medium-pressure systems and have smooth bore alignment, simple maintenance, and reliable operation under harsh operating conditions.
