Phillips Cheese Head Screws
Phillips Cheese Head Screws are screws with a cylindrical, slightly rounded head (cheese head) and a cross shaped (Phillips) drive. The Phillips drive allows for better torque control and reduces the risk of cam out, making them suitable for machinery, electronics, and general assembly. Slotted Cheese Head Screws have the same cylindrical head but feature a single straight slot for a flathead screwdriver. They are simple, easy to manufacture, and commonly used in woodworking, metalworking, and light duty fastening applications.
