In general, it has a high chromium (~24-26%) content, together with molybdenum (~3-4%), nickel (6-8%), copper, and tungsten, which ensure that the material is highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking and also can withstand several acids compared to the stainless steels of a normal grade. Besides this, Zeron 100 is also capable of providing high mechanical strength, excellent toughness, and good weldability, which is the reason why it is the most suitable for the most demanding applications in the oil &amp; gas, marine, chemical processing, desalination, and offshore infrastructure industries.
