Hastelloy C 22 Round Bar

Hastelloy C-22 round bars are used in applications where exceptional corrosion resistance is required, particularly in the chemical processing, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries. They are ideal for use in reactors, heat exchangers, and other equipment exposed to aggressive environments.

Hastelloy C-22 round bars offer excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Their high resistance to a variety of corrosive agents, including acids and chlorides, makes them suitable for demanding environments where other materials may fail.

Compared to other Hastelloy alloys, C-22 offers superior resistance to a broader range of corrosive substances, including both oxidizing and reducing agents. It also performs better in conditions involving high concentrations of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid than some other materials in the Hastelloy family.
