Designed to change flow direction in piping systems, these elbows offer excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and stability in high temperature and high pressure applications.
Incoloy 800/800H/800HT Buttweld Pipe Fittings are primarily used in high temperature and high pressure applications such as heat exchangers, petrochemical plants, power generation units, and furnace components. Their nickel iron chromium composition provides excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and thermal fatigue, making them suitable for continuous operation in extreme industrial environments.
The main difference lies in carbon content and grain structure. Incoloy 800 is used for general high temperature applications, while 800H has higher carbon content for improved creep strength. Incoloy 800HT further enhances performance with controlled aluminum and titanium levels, offering superior resistance to high temperature deformation and improved rupture strength.
Buttweld fittings are preferred because they provide smooth flow characteristics, high structural strength, and leak proof welded joints. When manufactured from Incoloy 800/800H/800HT, these fittings ensure excellent durability, reduced maintenance, and long service life, making them ideal for critical b2b industrial services where safety and reliability are essential.
