Nylon Screw

Nylon screws are fasteners made from durable, lightweight nylon material. They are non-conductive, corrosion-resistant, and resistant to many chemicals. They are also lightweight, offer thermal insulation, and are less likely to damage delicate components compared to metal screws.

Their non-magnetic properties make them suitable for sensitive applications like MRI machines.

Nylon screws are not as strong as metal screws in terms of tensile strength. However, they are sufficiently strong for low to medium-load applications. They are preferred when strength is secondary to factors like weight, chemical resistance, and insulation. Nylon screws can typically withstand forces up to 35-50 MPa, depending on the grade and size.
