Non-Metallic Fastening Performance
- Material Strength and Thermal Stability: Nylon screws are made out of engineering grade poly amide like PA 6 or PA 66 which offers good tensile and shear strength against light or medium-duty fastening. They do well in assemblies where the load bearing capacity is moderate. Under normal service conditions, these screws can be used in temperatures ranging between -40 o C and 100 o C. Their stability in size only ensures that they tighten up without cracking or over-deforming.
- Electrical Insulation Capability: Nylon screws are totally non-conductive and non-magnetic and thus can be used in delicate electrical and electronic set ups.
