Hastelloy Flanges are commonly utilized in nuclear fuel reprocessing plants, chemical industries, oil refineries, power generation plants, and applications with concentrated saline water. They possess excellent stress rupture and fatigue strength at high temperatures. These flanges, including plate flanges, come in different sizes, shapes, and forms.

The main difference is their composition; Hastelloy B3 has slightly lower oxidation resistance than the more corrosion-resistant Hastelloy B2. Both can be formed into round bars for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, chemical reactor pumps, and valve components, among other uses.
