The alloy is useful in retaining good mechanical strength at higher temperatures when normal stainless steels lose their usefulness very fast. It has an austenitic structure that is good in toughness at cryogenic temperatures, low magnetic permeability and resistance to thermal shock. These fasteners are able to withstand hot corrosion and sulfidation because of the high level of chromium which is resistant to such an environment of combustion gases, sulfur compounds, and vile industrial environments.</span></p></div></div></div></span></h2></p>
