Duplex Round Bar

Duplex Round Bars offer a unique combination of high mechanical strength and superior corrosion resistance, especially in environments containing chlorides, acids, or seawater. They are less prone to stress corrosion cracking than standard austenitic stainless steels and can operate at higher pressures with thinner wall sections, reducing material costs.

Duplex 2205 is a widely used duplex grade with balanced strength and corrosion resistance, suitable for heat exchangers, piping, and pressure vessels. Duplex 2507, a super duplex grade, offers higher chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content, making it ideal for highly corrosive or high-pressure applications such as offshore oil rigs, seawater equipment, and subsea systems. While both are duplex alloys, 2507 provides superior performance under more extreme mechanical and chemical exposure.

We offer customized bar diameters, lengths, surface finishes, machining tolerances, and third-party inspection certificates as per ASTM or customer standards. Our bars can be cut to exact lengths, supplied in ground or polished condition, and tested for mechanical properties.
