Stainless Steel 253ma Flanges

Stainless Steel 253 MA flanges are made of the alloy 253 MA, a high-temperature austenitic stainless steel noted for its excellent resistance to oxidation and creep at high temperatures. These flanges are intended to offer dependable sealing and connection in pipe systems working in sweltering and corrosive conditions, such as those found in power plants, petrochemical facilities, and furnace applications. Stainless Steel 253 MA flanges improve performance at temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F), making them suitable for use in harsh environments where standard stainless steel may fail. They have good weldability and formability, making them easy to install and versatile in various industrial applications.

These flanges are welded on the outside and socket of the flange to provide a robust and leak-proof connection. Threaded Flanges: Threaded flanges have threads on the inner bore of the flange, allowing them to be screwed onto the pipe. These flanges have the highest mechanical strength of any product. The inclusion of nickel makes them highly durable. Phosphorus boosts the hardening capability of these flanges. Manganese is found in most stainless steel products in concentrations ranging from 0.8% to 0.15%, imparting toughness. Carbon acts as a stiffening agent. All of the combined features contribute to the flanges' distinctive chemical strength such that they can endure damaging attacks from outside environments.
