Upvc Casing Pipes

The primary use of uPVC casing pipes is to protect borewell structures and support groundwater extraction systems. These pipes are installed as a lining inside drilled boreholes to prevent the collapse of soil or rock walls and to keep sand, silt and debris out of the water column. This ensures clean water flow and stable operation of submersible pumps. uPVC casing pipes are widely used in agricultural irrigation, domestic wells and industrial water supply systems due to their corrosion resistance, non toxic nature and long service life.

PVC casing pipes are classified into three main types based on depth and pressure handling. CS (Casing Shallow) is used for borewells up to 80 meters and has a lighter wall thickness suitable for shallow groundwater levels. CM (Casing Medium) is ideal for depths between 80 and 150 meters and provides moderate strength and durability for agricultural or domestic borewells. CD (Casing Deep) is designed for borewells deeper than 150 meters, with thick walls and high load bearing capacity to withstand deep installation and high static pressure. These types help protect the borewell from collapse and keep the water column clean.

The purpose of pipe casing is to stabilize the borewell or drilled hole, preventing its walls from collapsing and protecting the water source from contamination.
